Inside Sales Representative

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused sales representative to join our team. We are looking for a career-minded individual who is driven, organized, and enjoys building relationships while also helping to problem solve.

Previous sales experience in steel and fabrication is preferred; however, steel knowledge is not necessary as we are willing to train the right person. This position is year-round full time (40 hours) with benefits available after 90 days.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities and Duties

• Process customer orders, make/take sales calls
• Work to establish and maintain customer relationships
• Prepare, present, and follow up sales quotes and leads
• Coordinate with operations and purchasing to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity
• Generate sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow-up
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the metal industry is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM systems
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

Delivery Driver – CDL-A Escanaba Day

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. We are looking for a career-minded individual who is driven, organized, and enjoys building relationships while also helping to solve problems.

Local deliveries to various customers throughout the western Upper Peninsula area. The delivery area is divided into zones, with specific delivery days designated for each zone. You are home daily. Previous experience with hauling chained, strapped, and tarped loads and a minimum of 2 years driving experience is preferred. Occasionally an additional, or alternate, day may be required due to weather, mechanical issues, holidays, etc.

We guarantee to pay 32 hours a week. Overtime for any time over 8 hours per day. Benefits available after 90 days.

• Follow best practices for handling heavy steel to prevent injury or damage
• Confirm delivery details, answer questions, and handle any delivery concerns or complaints
• Record mileage and complete delivery logs and complete all paperwork

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience with heavy materials and construction site logistics
• Strong navigational skills and ability to read delivery maps
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy steel items
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict schedules

Delivering specific items to multiple customers throughout Northern Michigan daily. You are home daily. Previous experience with hauling chained, strapped, and tarped loads and a minimum of 2 years driving experience is preferred.

This day shift position is year-round full time (40 hours) with occasional overtime. Overtime is paid for any time over 8 hours per day. Benefits available after 90 days.
